04/15/2026 - End of Season Thanks
As the snowmobiling season draws to a close on April 15th, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the moments that made this winter special. One memory stands out vividly: a young friend’s first snowmobile weekend. What struck him most wasn’t the speed, the breathtaking views, or the thrill of exploring new trails. It was the strong sense of community. That observation says a lot about what makes snowmobiling in Vermont truly unique. For Vermont’s second biggest winter activity

03/29/2026 - A Great Way To Help
Greetings Everyone: As we wrap up the snowmobiling season, we’re pleased to look back on one of the best winters we’ve had in years. Consistent snowfall and favorable conditions made for a tremendous season—and with it, some of the best riding our trail system has seen in a long time. This year also marked an important milestone for our club. Due to the incredible generosity of one of our members, we added a new “state of the art” groomer while retaining our existing groomer.

03/11/2026 - Trails Closed for Now
Dang warm weather ate our snow! Some spots still have good coverage, but getting there will be too much mud crossing, and we still have one more really warm day and rain to go. Trails are closed for now. Not giving up hope yet! March always has a surprise or two.

03/07/2026 - Bruce Bridge Dedication Pics
Great day! Our Bruce Ingerson Bridge Dedication event was held on Saturday, March 7th. The turnout was impressive and the care everyone took to make the event memorable was amazing. We met at bridge 12A on Trail 127A. John Murphy, our club president dedicated the bridge, then Tuula, Bruce's wife, said a few words about her life together with Bruce and her family. Michelle then wrapped it up and invited everyone to the Warming Hut for refreshments. The BBQ was delicious. Every

Snow! About 3 inches came in again last night and this morning which helping the trails hold on a little longer. The warmth on the weekend is going to challenge the trails a bit. Right now they are good but not sure what they will look like by the end of Saturday. Grooming was during this week but now is on hold until it gets colder and we get more snow. Make sure to get out riding on Saturday, for sure. Especially since you can join us for our Bridge Dedication for Bruce Ing

Like icing on a cake for you midweek riders. Almost all Ludlow trails were groomed Sunday night into Monday early morning. Bernie did Okemo (127/7) and Kevin and Tina did most of North Hill (127A/127B, Calcutta trail, Highland Views). Trails have some thin areas but overall are in good shape for the amount of snow we have. Thanks, guys! Happy Presidents Day! Enjoy!

02/14/2026 - Fun At The Hut
Bennett and Montana timed their hot cocoa stop at the Warming Hut perfectly as they got there at the same time as Bernie with the groomer. They got to get a feel of what it's like from behind the wheel. Great meeting you, Bennet and Montana. Maybe you'll want to be part of our groomer operator team in a few years :) Thanks, Richard, for passing along the pictures!

02/14/2026 - OFF TRAIL RIDING- BAD FOR YOU- BAD FOR US
OFF TRAIL RIDING- BAD FOR YOU- BAD FOR US. A fellow Croncher and landowner reported off trail riding on his property today on 127 on his field alongside the trail. His concern was there are lots of big rocks hidden under the snow in his field making it very dangerous for riders. Off trail riding not only puts us in jeopardy of trail closures, it also puts the rider at risk of injury for unseen hazards. We put in tons of hours working on the trails for you to get to ride and g

Groomer operators are going to be out and about at different times over the weekend. Trails were groomed Friday as well. Area trails also also Valentine's sweet right now. Enjoy while we got it! Safety Note: please keep in mind you are a lot more maneuverable than the groomer. Do you your best to keep alert to groomers and it is appreciated if you can get yourself out of the way as much as possible. Don't pass until you know the groomer operator is aware. Thanks!
