Trail Reports

Important Notes:

• The Warming Hut is is open 24x7 and you are welcome to build a fire in the woodstove. Courtesy hot cocoa is usually set up on the weekends. Porta potties are there.

• Gas is available at the Fox Run Golf Course which also hosts Calcutta's restaurant. Take the feeder trail off of 127A F2.

• The Darcy Trail (feeder trail from 127A to car route 103) is open this year (2025). Restaurants in that area are closed due to flood damage. There are also washouts on the trail.

• Trail 127 near Soapstone Rd (by LaValley) in the town of Ludlow is a little straighter, no longer making a sharp turn to make it safer and easier to groom. Follow signs.

• IMPORTANT: The Catamount trail, a snowshoe and cross-country ski trail, will be detoured onto the VAST trail 127 on Okemo for the entire length of Government/Healdville Road for the 2024/2025 season because of the timber sale. Please be extra alert to people on the trail there. Map here.
