Bernie and Mike got out yesterday (Sunday) to groom North Hill (127A/12B) minus the Calcutta trail, the Lake Rescue trail, and the feeder trail. Thanks, guys! They encountered a bunch of trees to clean up but report the trails are pretty good for early season conditions. Higher elevations are have more snow. Continue to watch out for rocks (they may be hidden), water bars, mud and perhaps a downed tree. They were cleaned up but you never know if an other will fall. The ground is not frozen. Keep in mind that neighboring towns may not have opened their trails yet and refer to the VAST map or their social media for info. The snow depth varies quite a bit. Keep thinking snow! We want to stop that rain coming the end of the week. Enjoy and be safe!
