11/2/2025 - Exciting Trail News!

The season is cruising in quickly! Us Cronchers are bringing a bunch of great trail improvements to you this season. Three majors projects being done in addition to the usual debrushing, brush hogging, tree clearing, and signage.

Major projects are:

  1. Taking the "camel hump" out of the 127 trail in the Highland Views neighborhood off of Bixby Rd. If you remember, there was a steep "up and down" piece of the trail that was a little challenging for snowmobilers and the groomer to navigate. That has been filled in and now is a smooth hill.

  2. Added drainage and culverts to 127 near the Hideaway campground area to improve some soupy areas.

  3. Awesome reroute on 127A to get us off a quarter mile stretch on North Hill Pent Rd so we can stay in the woods. Includes a new bridge. Bridge is done. Excavating still in progress. Grass seed and hay targeted for Saturday, 11/8. Join in if you can and see the trail in person!

It's truly impressive how much a small group of Cronchers can pull off. Thank you landowners, volunteers, and to all those who support us! Check out the pics! Click on them for a full view.
